Welcome to Double Trouble‘s first Double Digit Challenge – that would be challenge #10!!! This week Trouble Maker is challenging you to use at least three colors with a stamped or digital image. Twisted Sister is asking you to use a critter and add a punny saying with your image, finally Double Dare is asking us to link with the Brown Sugar Challenge #282 using a critter.
The entire time I was creating I was humming this verse from a song I grew up singing in the United Methodist Church. It’s been a number of years since I’ve been in church, but I guess some things just stick.
“All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful:
the Lord God made them all.”
My first inclination was to reach for the retired Operation Smile Punny Pals stamp set and then I thought no that would be to easy, so instead I reached for the long ago retired Safari Ballet stamp set. Ballet and roses just seem to go together so I grabbed some of my last scraps of the retired fundamentals paper and the new Love of Color Book for a combination – Lagoon, Sapphire and Canary. I dressed my ballerina head to toe in Canary yellow (or as close as I could get with my Copic Markers). I want to let you in on a little secret – that skinny yellow strip of cardstock was cut with the Ribbon Thin Cut from CTMH and I just layered my circle of the bow part. To finish off my card I stamped my “punny saying” with Sapphire Ink onto the Lagoon B&T and added a few sparkles.
Now won’t you head over to our Double Trouble Design Page and see what Thing 1 and Thing 2 have created. While you are there you’ll find all the rules to link up to our challenge. If you find you still need a little help – we can get you started, Thing 1 although a Trouble Maker is a real whiz with the computer!

The hippo dancing among those beautiful bold flowers is just the right setting…another good use of the bigger bolder Paper Fundamentals. And of course, always a nice write-up.
