As most of you know I’m a DT Member at Double Trouble Papercrafting challenge. We have the most amazing participants that have introduced me to many fun challenges and stamp companies and digital images. It’s a crazy happy world that I live in!
One of our entrants in Challenge #14, Mary Marsh of The Charmed Life, posted an adorable card and information on Sketch 718 at Split Coast Stampers. She also mentioned how she had struggled a bit with the sketch due to it’s Clean and Simple look.
I love a good sketch – I use pattern books all the time, but it’s always a challenge wondering what the creator is really looking for and if I can put my touch on it, but still have the basic details of the sketch.
I was in card class mode surrounded by Christmas papers when I decided I needed a break from making card kits and had the printout of the sketch on my desk. I decided to skip the stamping and added a die cut snowflake instead of the second circle. I also added some twine and wish I’d got it under my circle, but that circle wouldn’t even think about budging.
I am quite excited that Mary shared this sketch and introduced me to an entire gallery of inspiration. Go check out her blog…she shares some really cute cards.
