Double Trouble #32

Won’t you come get in some trouble with us at Double Trouble. This week Trouble Maker is challenging us to make a Christmas in July (yep, flip that calendar people it’s July 1st already!) with a square design. And who better to make an appearance at Christmas than Santa on vacation at the North Shore. Double Dare is asking us to link up to Retro Rubber Challenge #114.

I knew exactly which stamp sets I was going to use as soon as we decided on our challenge. There’s a little old (the beach chair and santa hat) mixed with a little new (the palm tree, sand, shells & sentiment). My paper is some that I had left from last Christmas – I knew I wanted to mix in that strip of “tropical” colors.

My card is square 4.5 X 4.5 – I cut the front cover a little short so the B&T would show.

I thought it was so clever that Santa left his hat while running off to catch a wave. After all the hard work he does, I’m sure Santa deserves an extended vacation in the sun!

Thanks for stopping by…leave me a comment and let me know what you think about this fun challenge, then run over to the Double Trouble Challenge and get the rules and play along.
