Double Trouble #36

There is no better way to start a Monday than with a little trouble – A Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is!

Our challenge for the next two weeks (8/19-9/1) is round with the fun twist of adding anything to do with school, you can also get extra points in our prize draw by linking to our Challenge Partner The Joy of Sets. You can find all the details and link up your creations by visiting our challenge blog

I chose the vertical first row in the Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe board – Yellow, Square & Plaid. My card is a 4.25 square – I layered a stitched square with a yellow & white checked B&T. I have had the Crafting Shapes thin cuts for some time, but not had the chance to use them until now. I had fun layering the shapes that I thought you’d find on a teachers desk on a large circle. I used the ruler where I would normally use some ribbon. I thought my sentiment would be perfect, because who hasn’t asked “is it the weekend yet?”

Don’t forget to link up and join the fun…everyone needs a little Double Trouble in their life!

  2. A fun card – I’m seeing lots of plaid around at the moment – it looks lovely on your card – thanks for joining us at #JOSTTT008 hope to see you again next month

  3. Our daughter just got her first teaching job so there are a lot of school supplies being purchased this year to help outfit her first classroom. I also took one of our granddaughters back to school shopping and even at Walmart is was quite the hit to my checkbook.
