Double Trouble #38

There is no better way to start a Monday than with a little trouble – A Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is!

Our challenge for the next two weeks (9/16-9/29) is Mad for Plaid with the fun twist of adding a tag or frame, you can also get extra points in our prize draw by linking to our Challenge Partner Use Your Stuff . You can find all the details and link up your creations by visiting our challenge blog (insert link)

I needed an anniversary card for my sister-in-law & brother-in-law so I reached for the Say It In Style stamp set and paired it with a plaid from the Hawthorn paper packet. My tag was cut using the Fancy Frames Thin Cuts and a small strip of Hawthorn plaid was added to the bottom then a stitched heart was cut from Sangria and layered. To finish things I added a bow and bitty sparkles.

Don’t forget to link up and join the fun…everyone needs a little Double Trouble in their life!

  1. Loads of inspiration on your anniversary card Tracey! I love the half and half sentiment strip across the top of the card and the tag is a work of art on its own! That plaid is gorgeous too 🙂

  2. I always have problems on how to insert a tag but you did a lovely job of incorporating your tag and love that you added that strip of plaid on it along with the over the edge heart. Very pretty and masculine anniversary card.
