Double Trouble – #98

It’s time for more trouble…Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is.

Our challenge consists of three parts: Trouble Makers main challenge, Double Dares challenge to link with another blog which you may or may not decided to participate in and Twisted Sisters surprise challenge! You can find all the details on the rules page of the challenge blog.

This week the challenge is a Something, Anything, Everything challenge with Twisted Sisters unusual twist of choosing ANYTHING FROM MY CARD.

“This Twist is on you… choose at least one element from my card below and include it on your project!  You may repeat my colors, my images, my shapes, my layout, or my embellishments. Choose at least one element, i.e. dry embossing, snowflakes, twine, plaid, banner, cookies/sweets, dots, etc.  Don’t keep us guessing… tell us what element(s) you selected as YOUR TWIST and include in your post description!
This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble’s random draw.   Additionally, I have some Blog Candy I want to give away… Leave a comment on my blog HERE and you will be eligible for another random draw prize.”

I am in love with the Macaron stamp set…not such a big fan of the cookie themselves, but the fun colors that they come in led me to create a sweet Christmas themed card for a friend.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my card and will consider joining our challenge. If you’d like more inspiration visit my team members at Double Trouble and team up with one of our previous partners for an extra chance at our random draw.

  1. Such a cute card! It was really fun to take pieces of it to make my own! I think macarons are SO cute but super yucky. I think someone should create a sugar cookie sandwich that looks like a macaron but is yummy like a sugar cookie! 🙂

  4. Your card is so cute with that delicious and precarious stack of macarons!! I have never tried them…but they look delicious. I used dry embossing on my card. I am commenting Just For Fun since I won your blog candy for the Deja Brew Challenge. Thank you so much. I hope you got my email replying to yours!
Thank you for sharing your lovely card!

  5. Love your yummy card, perfect for Christmas cookie time in those great Christmas colors. The French make those pastries in all different colors, so you can make that card in any color you want. Big Hug. Debi

  7. Very sweet card – both in theme & design. I used a snowflake on my card as well as the color red. I can’t say that I have ever tried a macaron!! I must admit, I’ve never met a ‘sweet’ I didn’t like! haha

  8. I enjoyed using your sweet card for inspiration, Tracey! I hope you’ll take a look. My first experience with macarons was in 2005 while visiting France. We purchased several flavors while in a bakery in Paris and they were delicious!

  9. It was a fun twist to use elements from your card… anxious to see how entrants use your elements. Your card looks yummy. I tried macarons for the first time about two years ago, they are not a favorite but they are pretty colors.
