No Worries – Hi

I love making little cards to tuck into a spot to be found and bring a smile to someone’s face.  This little 2.5 X 3.5 gem lacks any beach feel, but was made using the No Worries paper packet.

The circles for the HI were cut using the new Circle Thin Cuts…pretty easy way to make a mat by just grabbing two stepped sizes.  That cute flower and HI! sentiment are both from the June Stamp of the Month Hello Foxy.  This is probably my favorite Stamp of the Month from this Seasonal Expression and what a great deal at $5 US with a qualifying order.

What is your favorite way to use small cards?  I’d love it if took a minute to leave me a comment.  Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Thanks – Color Dare #221

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors:  Goldrush, Poppy, Saffron and Colonial White.

I decided to play with a fun-sized card this week – this bitty card is just 2.5 X 3.5 and it has a 1.25 circle punched in the front to peak through to the stamped area inside.

The Forest Feast stamp set was one of my favorites as soon as I opened the Seasonal Expressions.  Don’t you just love that Colonial White Ribbon…I’m so glad that ribbon has been added back to our supplies.

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!

While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!

What is your favorite card size to make?  Leave me a comment and let me know!  Thanks for being a loyal follower.

Feline Unique

I used to have a fondness for stuffed animals and I had a stuffed cat made from a beautiful Chintz fabric so when I saw the August Stamp of the Month “Purr-fect Halloween” I knew I wanted to make a cat using the floral pattern from Florence.

This itty-bitty card is just 2.5 X 3.5 – the perfect size for sticking in a briefcase or backpack to be found as an added pick me up during the day.  The Florence papers  in the background just give a subtle amount of texture.

Make sure that you are following my blog for some more fun artwork with the August Stamp of the Month.

The Long and Short of It

Hello!  Do you remember me?  I’m back from the Close to My Heart Convention at Disneyland and have tons of mojo, I’ve also got a ton of laundry so I’m finding little bits and pieces of time to create before I have to move the loads (never mind about the folding, tee hee)

Have you heard about Jump on it July?  With a qualifying purchase you can get either the July stamp of the month for FREE or any one of the Hostess Rewards sets from Annual Inspirations or Seasonal Expressions 2 for just $5.00.

I couldn’t pass up playing with the Cuddly Salutaions stamp set just one more time.  The cute line drawn animals and speech bubbles are just perfect for coloring in with the ShinHan markers.  Instead of using B&T I chose to use the Basics Paper Fundamentals for a gradient monochromatic look.

Make sure you take a minute to visit my webpage where you can join my mystery hostess party and shop for any supplies you might need or just add a cute new stamp set to your collection.
