I thought I’d pop in on a Friday morning with a fun gift box idea. I needed a fun way to display a movie gift card and saw a cute idea on Pinterest, so I grabbed my Artiste cartridge and started cutting away.
I used paper straws to hold up my gift card and shapes. I think I’ll be using this idea in card form too so stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by on a Friday…enjoy your weekend.
Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring November’s SOTM, which is New Years Cheer, a set of 13 stamps. If you have come here from Crafty Carol’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog: http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html.
This month we have almost 30 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do – just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
I made this fun box using the new All About the Gold and Rustic Home Fundamentals. The tag was cut from the Flower Market Cricut cartridge in three sizes Black 2 3/4, Kraft 2 1/2 and Colonial White 2 1/4. The glass of bubbly and sentiment was embossed using Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder.
Now “Hop” on over to Sheila Bennett’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the November SOTM is only available until the 30th! Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get the mail from the mailbox of course!
This sweet little mailbox cut on the Cricut is sure to please on Valentine’s Day! Filled with Hershey’s Hearts and Kisses it’s sure to convince your sweetheart to say yes.
This is just one of four Valentine’s that you’ll go home with if you register for my All Things Love class on February 9th. The cost is $15 and class is limited to six participants. Please RSVP by February 1st.
I love the new Annual Inspirations from Close to My Heart – not only is in chocked full of stamps, papers and assorted pieces of bling it is loaded with inspiration!
Take this box for instance – it’s straight from page 15 using the November stamp of the month. I’m not so much into the fussy cutting of all the flowers, but I think it would make the perfect place card at a Thanksgiving table or if you’re less formal a small gift for each of your guests.
This next card was actually inspired by the Kraft 3 Ring Album on page 56. I loved the layers of color from light to dark.
I used another stamp from the Happy Autumn stamp set for the inside of the card. I think the group of flowers actually look like dandelion blooms and I think I may try stamping them in white for a different look! I will probably end up making a Thankful album as I’ve challenged my family to come up with one thing every day for the month of November.
My last card was inspired from one I saw on the Close to My Heart webpage. It was done with a different paperpack, but I’m trying to use up the remainder of my Pathfinding paper. I used the new Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge sleeve and lined it with a piece of B & T.
I loved my day in the craft room!
