If you’ve been following me for anytime you know that I love cards with movement and making them just got so much easier.
I saw a die from Lawn Fawn which makes Magic Slider cards. It’s now happily at home in the Craft Coop.
I grabbed a fun ice-cream themed stamp set from a few years ago and went to work making my card. The big surprise is a gift card attached to the back side of the slider.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit…I hope you can leave a comment with your favorite flavor of ice cream!
Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare. This week we are featuring the colors from the Jack Paper Pack…Juniper, Ruby, Slate, Sweet Leaf, Whisper, White Daisy and Black.
My husband needed a card for an associate to put a gift card in…I’m so glad that I’m his “go to cardmaker” 🙂 It would really be discouraging if I found him in the Hallmark Aisle of the grocery store. Since I know this man is an avid outdoors-man I thought it would be fun to use the bear from the Jack Card Making Stamp set. I love that silly little hat and the tree B&T paper helped me get all the colors of the challenge included.
This fun card cut from the Artiste cartridge keeps that gift card held securely. I’m also linking up to the Heart to Heart Camp Out and Three Amigos Jack Challenges.
OK, now it’s YOUR turn! The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage. Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!
While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!
We have a special family birthday to celebrate this week and I wanted to put together a special card. I’m also trying to use my stash of B&T papers that I’ve accumulated!
I started by cutting components from the Artfully Sent cartridge for the Over the Hill Banner and “60”. I then cut the gift card holder from Kraft Cardstock from the Artiste cartridge (I love the gift card holder cards). I mounted it to a standard 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 card base and tied it all closed with a piece of Juniper ribbon.
For the inside I stamped the Happy Day stamp in Juniper and mounted it with Thin 3D Foam Tape to a piece of Glitter Gold and Black Circle cut just 1/4 inch bigger than the circle below it.
I love it when things come together this easy. I hope you’ll find some inspiration to use up some of your stash!
Thanks for stopping by!
