Wow! It’s Wednesday already…where does time go?
I’ve been having a blast showcasing the stamp sets that were brought back from retirement this month for Stampganza. Enjoy the Little things with it’s cute flowers and little tag sentiment reminding us to enjoy the little things.
My 3X3 card was random stamped with the flowers in Glacier, Thistle and Lemon – notice how my random stamping is done in a triangular pattern – it really makes it an organized random 🙂 stamping off the page is good too! Most of the time I start with a larger piece of paper and then cut it down to the size I need for my card.
Have you picked out your favorite stamps for Stampganza? You can find them here.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare. This week we are featuring the color: Green
The Close to My Heart Greens are:
- Sweet Leaf, New England Ivy, Fern, Emerald and Willow
You can choose to use one, two, three or all of the Close to My Heart Green’s and add a little gold for an accent if you wish!
Last week I was vacationing in Phoenix (I’d say soaking up some Vitamin D, but that didn’t happen) and planned to “hook up” with fellow Color Dare DT Member, Sue Reynolds – in the lavender shirt behind me and her neighbor Mel (in the green). They took me to this really cool scrapbook and stamping store (I forgot the name) but it had so many wonderful things. It’s a serious wonder we ever got out of there. That’s where I found the cute stamp set for my card this week.
The stamp set is by Newton’s Nook and came with some cute sentiments, the main image and a cute little clover. I am really picky when it comes to acrylic stamps and this one passed the “Tracey Test”. My card features the Close to My Heart Colors Willow and Emerald with some accents of gold shimmer tape and gold glitter gems.
OK, now it’s YOUR turn! The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage. Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!
Make sure you stop by each of our DT member blogs and leave a little love.
Thanks for stopping by – I hope you’ll sign up to follow my blog…I’ll be back Monday with a cute new card using the stamp of the month.
Wow, it felt so good to put ink to paper today. My Wrangler wearing sweetheart and I spent the weekend reconnecting at Ocean Shores, life is just happier at the beach when I’m not camping…LOL!
I was excited to see the AHSC this week…I’ve been on a roll of participating lately and I’m hoping that it will keep up, so without further babble…here’s the sketch
and here’s my interpretation.
I used the colors from the new Jackson Paper Packet and the cute Camper Crazy set…love those little campers!!!
This photo shows the cute corner art on the inside and that I lifted the top layer with thin 3D foam tape to give the front of the card just a touch of dimension.
Thanks for stopping by…it would really make me a happy camper if you left me a comment!
