I stopped by the Three Amigo's Blog Hop Challenge where I learned I was a winner last month – I'm honored even though it's just a random draw! This is a fun blog hop challenge and not too big so you should go check it out. This month they are featuring the Jack papers you can find the link here.
I was playing around with the August Stamp of the Month Back to School and the Jack papers and cute bear stamp were on my desk (actually there was a lot of stuff on my desk – so much that I barely had room to stamp) and thought I should make a teacher bear…then I thought I should give me stamping buddies detention! It's all downhill from there. I had to figure out how to make my Cricut do the printing – a challenge on it's own.
I'll be back tomorrow with more new things so make sure you get subscribed by clicking on the link on the side of my blog.
Thanks for stopping by…I hope I gave you a little chuckle.
I love the Card Workshops on the Go offered by Close to My Heart. Not for the typical reasons, a full color instructional brochure, exclusive stamp set and the assorted embellishments, I get excited for the leftovers!
After cutting the pieces for the 15 card Workshop shown below – once assembled I had so many pieces left over that I’m pretty sure I’ll still have enough by adding some additional white cardstock to come up with at least one layout for Christmas morning (I think I saw some pj’s that are going to match the B & T) and maybe even some extra cards.
Stay tuned to see what I do with the Snowhaven scraps!
Welcome to the Paper Trail Blog Hop, for the month of May we are featuring the Timberline Paper Packet. If you’ve hopped her from Karen’s Inky Fingers you are on the right path, but if you’ve started here no worries because we are a circular hop and by following the links you’ll make your way right back where you started. If you get lost you can always come back here as I’ve added a list at the bottom of our blog hop participants and the order in which we are hopping!
Being a “Princess” I’m not much into the outdoors, but I knew immediately what I would do with the Timberline Papers along with the Crazy Camper My Acrylix stamp set! For our “honeymoon” my husband took me to his family reunion that was being held in the mountains of Oregon at a campground where we slept in twin beds in a permanently placed trailer! It was a blast and I even got a t-shirt that said “I Survived the Pierce Family Reunion”. You’ll recognize that the layout is based loosely on the Timberline WOTG.

I wanted to show you a close up of my title…it is from the Crazy Camper Set and of course since I feel it’s all in the details, I added a clear sparkle to the girls left hand!
Another thing I wanted to point out is my hidden journal tag. I cut it just large enough to fit with the date still able to stick out from under the cute little trailer. Although I don’t think I’ll ever forget the story of our “honeymoon” it’s important to document the details for the next generation!
Thanks for taking time to stop by, I hope you’ll leave a comment and then follow this link to hop on over to Linda The Paper Taylor
