Friends – Color Dare #305

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.  This week we are featuring  the colors: Bashful, Blossom & Eggplant.

I reached for the Documented Paper that was sitting on my desk just begging to be used.  It was my favorite paper packet from the Seasonal Expression and now it’s retiring at the end of August.  This paper packet has a quirky friendship stamp that goes with it that has some funny sentiments about friendship and some cute flowers too!

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!

The Color My Heart Color Dare Design Team is made up of some uber talented ladies when you visit the homepage…make sure you click on their creations and leave them some love (we love reading your comments).

Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me…enjoy your weekend.

Just For You – Color Dare #298

TGIF!!!  I’ve been crazy busy in the Craft Coop – convention is NEXT WEEK, but I am happy to report that I’m all ready thanks to my friend and fellow DT member Debi!

The Design Team is playing with the colors Blossom, Linen & New England Ivy this week – such a fun summery combination.  Linen is actually one of my favorite new neutrals – it’s a creamy white and I just love it’s rich tone.

That cute Just for You stamp is from the Stamped With Love stamp set – a cute A sized stamp set with images for the front & back of your cards.

Now it’s your turn to grab your ink and papers and make a project.  You’ll find the rules for the Color My Heart Color Dare here.  Although we list the color names from Close to My Heart they are not required to play along.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hop you find lots of stamping time this summer and will come play along.

Special to Me – Color Dare #243

Happy Friday! Can you believe we are almost half way through May and it’s time for the Color Dare again?  This week the Color My Heart Color Dare is featuring the colors:  Blosson, Raspberry, Lagoon, Black, White Daisy & Silver.

My little 4X4 card is just small enough to stick in a computer bag to be found at a later date letting someone know he’s special to me!  I stamped the M sized Dandy stamp on my background and then layered my sentiment on circles I cut with our new thin cuts, a banner cut from our silver shimmer trim finished things off.

OK, now it’s YOUR turn!  The full details on how to join the fun is in the sidebar of our homepage.  Each color dare is open until 9:00 CDT on Thursday!

While at the homepage – check out what the other design team members have created and leave them a little love (comments make our day)!

I hope you all have a terrific Mother’s Day Weekend!

Blossom Fancy Fold

I’ve been MIA, but I’ve been busy!  Thursday we went to a Trace Adkins concert in Shelton, Saturday we attended a memorial service and Sunday we witnessed our beautiful niece get married (not that the other nieces aren’t beautiful, but this bride knocked it out of the ballpark!) So, for a quick post tonight this is one of the cards for my card class tomorrow.

It was made using the Blossom Papers and the stamp from the Blossom WOTG!  It’s a fun and easy fold.  I will explain in more detail later! For now my eyes are held open with glue dots :). Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon!

Blustery Birthday Wishes

I’ve got a whole bunch of shaped cards pinned at Pinterest, the problem is I don’t take the time to make them.  I talk about them, share them with my surrogate mom down the street and finally decided stamping is my sanity in my crazy life!

I saw this cute kite card on Pinterest which immediately made me think would be adorable reproduced in the new Blossom Papers!

The folding instructions for this card was pretty easy to follow, but if I make another it’s going to be with B&T instead of trying to figure out how to layer it on the front.  I thought I was going to have to take geometry all over again!

I punched a hole in the front layer of the card and tied on some Flaxen thick twine for a tail.  I used the stamps from the Blossom Card WOTG which was sitting on my desk.

I hope you’ve enjoyed stopping by, I’d love it if you’d take a minute to leave me a comment.
