Charming Borders

Today I’m sharing some bright sunny cards using the Charming Borders stamp set.

Borders don’t just have to be borders…as you can see on my cards I’ve stamped the border stamp all over to get a custom B&T paper.

Have you added the Charming Borders to your shopping cart? What do you plan on using them for?

There Are No Words

Today I’m sharing two cards that I made with the There Are No Words Stamp set. This “A” sized stamp set is retiring at the end of August and it’s kind of tucked in the back of the Seasonal Expression and easily missed.

I loved the simplicity of this set and well, to put it bluntly, sympathy cards are my least favorite to make.

If you haven’t updated your sympathy stamps in a while – I hope you’ll consider adding these to your shopping cart before they retire.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wild & Punny

What do you do when the Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions 2 is getting ready to retire. You make sure that everyone has checked, double checked and triple checked the list to get their favorite items and then you start creating with your favorite items.

One of my favorite stamp sets was Wild & Punny. This sassy stamp set was full of cute animals, wild puns & also had thin cuts to match.

I picked five of my favorite patterns from Make It From Your Heart Vol 4 and decided to feature some retiring papers and one of each of the animals.

I really had fun making this set of cards and although I will miss the papers & Colors these stamps are so versatile you’re sure to see them around for a long time.

Do you have a favorite? I’m a little partial to the flamingo & the cow. If you haven’t purchased this set yet you can click here to be directed to my webpage and get it added to your shopping cart.

Craft On

On Tuesday I issued a little challenge to my Thursday Morning Cards in the Coop class to create a card using the pattern I provided. I wanted them to see how easy it is to create with one of the Close to My Heart pattern books when all there is to decide is what colors and stamps to use.

I played along with the challenge too and timed my card from start to finish. I went in a totally different direction that I had initially planned, but I was looking for a bright sunny “hello card” to add to my collection. It took me less than 5 minutes including two trips across the room to the Big Shot to die cut the spool and the tiny heart!

Don’t you just love the bright bold flowers on the Craft On paper? And that spool of thread? Swoon!!!

I can’t wait to see if my Card Class ladies played along.
