Double Trouble – #46

There is no better way to start a Monday than with a little trouble – A Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is!

It’s time once again for my favorite Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge – a one week anything goes challenge that only happens when there are five Mondays! You can find all the details and link up your creations by visiting our challenge blog

I recently purchased the Paper Pal Girl Set from Close to My Heart…they’ve been in the catalog for quite a while, but it wasn’t until recently that I decided I needed to add them to my stamp collection and after playing with them today, I might be hooked. I think I want the Paper Pal Sports Collection next!

My birthday girl is celebrating with a new dress stamped and cut using the Every Little Thing Paper Packet, she even found Wisteria shoes! I cut the girl using the new French Vanilla paper and gave her a bit more color using the Fair Skin TriBlend marker. I didn’t realize that paper dolls could be this much fun.

I’m linking up with our previous partner The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog for the letter “C” – cute, clothing, card!

Don’t forget to link up and join the fun…everyone needs a little Double Trouble in their life!

This or That

My co-worker has a birthday tomorrow and I decided to stamp her a set of monogrammed cards. The flourishing frame and an assortment of the letters are still available in the online only section of my webpage here. This section includes items that are not pictured in a current catalog or special, but that are still available at retail price. Many of the products in this section will be items left over from a recently retired catalog or special, and they may only be available in limited quantities. Other items will be kept available for a longer time to support specific product or program needs. Look for the “Low Quantity” flag to identify items that will be running out soon.

I had fun playing with the color combinations from the Every Little Thing Paper Packet. I love the soft wash watercolor look that is featured in this paper. I also love that our paper is two sided and you can get such a different look just by flipping it over. I also flipped the letter and frame colors. Do you have a preference? You can leave me a comment with Wisteria C or Julep C and we’ll see which one wins. I wonder if you’ll like the one that I like.
