I think it’s important to recognize anniversary’s, whether it be yours, a family members or even a friends. In today’s world it just seems too easy to walk away from a relationship so help me in rewarding some longevity!
My two anniversary cards are a little something old and a little something new. Both paper packets are from the Annual Inspirations catalog – Georgie and Kaleidoscope. Both two of my favorites, but with a totally different feel. I used an old stamp of the month, Candlelight Garden and the current stamp of the month Celebrate with Cake.
I colored the Mason jar and flowers with Shin Han markers. You might be able to tell that the flowers are fussy cut and popped up on Thin 3D foam tape. I stamped them once on the jar and then stamped them again to cut out. I really like how this card turned out.
The “cake” card was paper pieced from the Kaleidoscope papers. To color the roses I used a blender pen and the ink from the inside of an ink pad lid. Simple but fun technique. I embellished with lots of bitty sparkles. I stamped the Celebrate over and over in Whisper ink for a soft simple background.
I hope you’ll consider making someone an anniversary card to celebrate their love. Thank you for stopping by. Leave me a comment with how many anniversaries you’ll be celebrating this year! I’ll be celebrating number 6!
