I am having fun with the Autumn Is Calling stamp & thin cuts. I combined some die cut leaves stamped in Papaya & Harbour with the Pumpkin Spice Papers. I then grabbed the retired Happy Everything stamp set and added a scripty greeting.
Have you had a chance to look at all the fall items on my website www.papercraftingprincess.ctmh.com? There are so many fun new products.

It seems as though I’m always reaching for this stamp set…I love the font, I love the bee, I LOVE that it benefits Operation Smile! When you purchase the Happy Everything My Acrylix Stamp Close to My Heart will donate $3.00 to Operation Smile. If you haven’t heard of Operation Smile, I invite you to visit my webpage and learn a little more. When you finish hopping if you come back and click on the Happy Everything Tag at the end of my post you’ll have a chance to see a few other cards that I have made.
Now, let’s get started!
I decided to feature a “joyfold” card. My BFF will be celebrating her birthday while I’m attending the CTMH convention so I wanted to make sure her card was extra special (she’s already mad at me for running off to Disneyland without her). I love this fold because it’s SUPER simple and packs some punch. I used the Seaside Papers because stripes and polka dots just seemed like “happy” papers to me.
This first photo shows the card closed, I actually paper pieced the balloon and covered it in Wink of Stella (thank you Wendy for introducing this stuff to me!) I stamped it half off the page and then stamped it again in the smoothie cardstock and cut out the balloon and used some thin 3D foam tape to give it a little lift. The cute little arrow in the lower corner has been rattling around in my accessories bin for a long time and it felt so good to finally use it.
This collage of photos shows what the card looks like when you open it up! On the inside I stamped the balloon again and this time colored it with Shin Han Markers before giving it several coats of Wink of Stella. The last photo in the grouping shows you just how much shimmer those balloons have!
I appreciate you taking the time to stop and take a look at my project…I’d love it if you left me a comment with your thoughts, I do take the time to read each and everyone of them (and I think I’ve finally got all the verifications turned off so you don’t have to prove that you aren’t a robot). Make sure that you continue through the entire hop, there are such a talented group of ladies sharing their art…next stop Tina Lovell’s Blog to see what Happy Things she has created.
Well my idea for a last minute color date at Color My Heart was too late to hook up to the link challenge, however it made for a pretty card to add to my stash!
I used the Brushstrokes stamp set to make a fun pallet of colors, Juniper, Pear, Canary, Pixie, Hollyhock and Cranberry…all colors found in the Brushed Paper Pack which I used earlier in the week and then when looking at the color dare again I thought what a great rainbow, hence my card! I then used the stamps from the new Operation Smile stamp set stamped in black over the top of the rainbow base. I then mounted the entire card to a base card of black. The rainbow was sprinkled with bitty sparkles.
The inside was finished off with two strips of another rainbow stamped sheet cut into banners. They remind me of paint chips from the hardware store.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you get the chance hop over to the Color My Heart Color Dare and see what inspiration you can find!

I was overwhelmed when it came to choices from the Seasonal Expressions 2 which product I wanted to showcase in this hop. I finally decided to let my heart do the speaking for me. I am featuring the new Operation Smile stamp set Happy Everything!
When you can change the life of a child by purchasing just one stamp set how can you go wrong? With each purchase of Happy Everything, Close to My Heart will donate $3.00 to Operation Smile, but that’s not the only way that you can help. We also give you the opportunity to round up your order – pennies add up to dollars and dollars add up to surgeries. Since it’s founding in 1982 Operation Smile has performed 220,000 surgeries to transform facial deformities in children. What difference are you willing to make? This stamp set features some fabulous sentiments along with the cutest little bee for a mere $17.95.
I had so much fun designing this card and wanted to focus on the hexagon shapes as accents. First I embossed the honey paper with the hexagon embossing folder and took my sanding block to it. I love our white core cardstock! I then punched the hexagon shapes into the white card stock and then stamped the bee with his little buzzing trail in black. To brighten up the front I stamped the sentiment in Honey ink and then colored in the bee with my Shin Han marker. I added a touch of glitter glue to the wings popped it all up with some 3D foam tape, stamped the inside for the finishing touch and tada I was done!
Now you can hop over to Chris Lothian’s Creative Capers to see what she has created.
Thanks again for stopping by. You can order your Happy Everything stamp from my webpage or from your local consultant and don’t forget to take a look at the daily grab bag specials too!
