Perk Up

I was supposed to be cleaning my craft room yesterday, but we all know how that turns out right? Finding cute things to play with and then I remembered that the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop was happening and I should link up a couple of more cards.

Both of my cards utilize the same pattern from Make It From Your Heart 4, if you are a card maker you need this book! Just click on the link and it will take you right to my website.

Although the September/October catalog has retired the Perk Up Stamp Set & Thin Cuts and Hawthorn paper are still available online. I have a friend that is all about EVERYTHING pumpkin spice, so I couldn’t resist putting together this fall card to put some happy in her mailbox.

In my tidying up I organized all my paper packs so they would be easy to access for my upcoming card making and ran across a box that had all my Holly Jolly Supplies – can you so JOY!!! You are going to LOVE this paper, the patterns are just amazing. I’m seeing friends from other states start to post snow pictures so this might just find its way to one of them to warm up their mailbox with a little cheer.

Even though these are the same pattern each card has it’s own unique look because of the papers and colors that I used.

My favorite fall drink is a Salted Caramel Mocha and once December arrives I’ll switch to a Peppermint Mocha. Are you a sweater weather or a pumpkin spice coffee lover?

Thanks for stopping by!

Color Dare #366

Happy Friday I’m back with another Design Team card for ¬†Color My Heart Color Dare. ¬† This week our challenge is a fan favorite Tic Tac Toe!

No photo description available.

I choose to use one of the papers from the Hawthorn paper packet and although I was going for the third column of Paprika, Pebble & Sapphire there’s a little Sage & Saffron thrown in with the leaves.

You can visit the Color My Heart Color Dare blog for all the information on how to play along as well as finding additional inspiration from the other Design Team members.

Double Trouble #38

There is no better way to start a Monday than with a little trouble – A Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is!

Our challenge for the next two weeks (9/16-9/29) is Mad for Plaid with the fun twist of adding a tag or frame, you can also get extra points in our prize draw by linking to our Challenge Partner Use Your Stuff . You can find all the details and link up your creations by visiting our challenge blog (insert link)

I needed an anniversary card for my sister-in-law & brother-in-law so I reached for the Say It In Style stamp set and paired it with a plaid from the Hawthorn paper packet. My tag was cut using the Fancy Frames Thin Cuts and a small strip of Hawthorn plaid was added to the bottom then a stitched heart was cut from Sangria and layered. To finish things I added a bow and bitty sparkles.

Don’t forget to link up and join the fun…everyone needs a little Double Trouble in their life!
