Welcome to another Friday! This week at the Color My Heart Color Dare we are featuring the bright colors of the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet. Color Dare #213 features the bright new colors of our Adventure Pallet and will surely brighten up your projects. I hope you’ll grab your inks and paper and link up.
I reached for one of my favorite sets combinations this month with the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet and Monstrous Halloween. This is the last card to share of my upcoming October card class. Did you get registered?
When I was creating with this card I thought about adding a banner with the sentiment and then I thought – WAIT, it needs to be a speech bubble. Between Thin-Cuts and my Cricut prepping for card classes has become a lot easier!
Thanks for stopping by now make your way over to the Color My Heart Color Dare blog where you’ll see some more artwork from the other design team members. Make sure you leave a little love (comments) along the way…we like to know that you like what we’re doing and appreciate that you stop and visit!
I’m not sure which I love more the Monstrous Halloween My Acrylix Stamp Set or the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet. I’ve sure had lots of fun creating with both.
This little gem of a monster is probably one of my favorites…he looks so scary, but funny at the same time. The versatility of this stamp set has made it a quick favorite! It’s made Halloween Cards, Birthday cards and even some invitations. This time I didn’t use the matching Thin Cuts and I just stamped the “Purple People Eater” right on the card base. The stars and lightening bolt are from the Jeepers Creepers assortment – don’t they just add the perfect touch.
I hope you’re enjoying a little cooler fall weather, I am! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you’ll take just a minute of your time to leave me a comment on what your favorite fall activity is.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite card sizes. I like that I can take 1/4 of a 12 X 12 page and with a quick score, fold it into a 3X6 card.
My intention today is to show you that although this is a Halloween Themed paper packet it is far from being exclusive to Halloween. I love the bright pop of colors from the Jeepers Creepers paper against the black background.
This is one of the cards that will be featured in my upcoming Jeepers Creepers Card Class. There’s a couple of spots left so make sure you get yours reserved today.
Thanks for stopping by…do you have a monstrous day!
Where’d ya get those peepers? Did you read that first line to the tune of the song?
It’s probably no surprise that I love Halloween. I always explain that I don’t like the creepy, scary Halloween…just the fun stuff – cute kids dressed in their favorite super hero and all the little princesses.

Even though it’s been labeled a Halloween themed paper, this Jeepers Creepers paper is perfect for all seasons.
There is no better chore than to make a birthday card for your child! What I’m really trying to say is that there’s nothing better than when your 25 year old son comes to you and asks you to make a card for his friend’s son! I asked him once if it was because he was too cheap to go to the dollar store and he told me “no, it’s because I like your cards better!” I love that he gives me a quick deadline “can I pick it up tomorrow?”
So…do you ever decorate your envelopes? I used to always decorate my envelopes, then I went through a phase where I used the clear ones. It’s probably just me but I always think maybe it will make the letter carrier a little happier when they plop the mail in someone’s box!
I found a simple sketch online and recreated it for little boy birthday! My truck and car stamps are long gone and the cute Monstrous Halloween stamp set was sitting on my desk along with the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet.
There is nothing about this card that says Halloween, but there is everything that says 2 year old boy including the #2 I cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge in our new Pansy cardstock.
I hope you’ll take a second look at the seasonal stamps and see what other uses you can come up with for them. Thanks for stopping by…check back again soon!
