Thankful

This was such a fun card…I started by random stamping leaves in assorted fall colors to create my own background paper. The trick is to start with the largest stamp and using a loose triangular pattern. The CTMH Make It From Your Heart blog recently posted some stamping techniques that you want to keep up your crafty sleeves. It’s always fun to revisit these techniques. I also cut the die cut word four times – three times from white and once from Harbour stacked and glued them all together to add some simple dimension.

I’d love to know what your favorite part of fall is…I like trading in my t-shirts for sweatshirts.

Some Like it Iced

I’m a coffee drinker…cream & sugar, flavored, hot or iced I’m probably willing to give it a try. I haven’t however caught the #PSL movement, even though I hail from the land of green straws!

I loved this Pumpkin Treats stamp set and knew it would be one of the first I bought from the September/October catalog.

I paired some woodgrain paper with Paprika cardstock added a little Mocha cardstock behind the Shortbread plaid mix-in (also a favorite) and mounted my cute drink cup. In true northwest fashion I colored my straw green.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my week of Pumpkin Treats. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and hope you’ll leave a comment.
