Like many of you, I’m trying to manage my time of Stay Home, Stay Healthy in a positive way. I’m going to be honest, it’s hard…I’m usually a girl on the go! I have been spending a lot of time in the Craft-Coop and this week started hosting online virtual classes. It might not have been as smooth as teaching in person, but I’m going to make it work and I will learn and it will get better.
I’ve also been taking orders for cards and this week I’ve spent extra time working on Thank You cards for health care workers, 25 to be exact. I’ve pulled out retired papers and stamps and really had some fun.
When I was digging through papers there was one thing that stuck out…I have A LOT of Christmas paper. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but by the time October hits I don’t have time to sit down and make Christmas cards. So I thought I’d throw a few cards together and start Fa La La Friday.
These cards were made using the Spruced Up paper and the December 2019 stamp of the month Reindeer Crossing. On the first card the sleigh was stamped in Espresso Ink on the woodgrained B&T. The second card features the pine cone branch stamped in Espresso, however on this card I chose to use Sangria Ink to stamp the sentiment directly on the B&T. Although I normally choose to stamp on a white or off white paper, this woodgrain had a light enough design to not interfere with my stamped image or sentiment.
If you missed this stamp of the month it is one that I have added to my sale box. Over the next few weeks I’m going to try and start adding additional stamps that I need to part with (Fridays will most likely feature Christmas stamps) and I know there are some with matching dies so stay tuned. If you are local I can do a gate pickup or set it aside for when we can see each other in person.
Thanks for stopping by…I hope you’re Staying Home, Staying Healthy & Staying Creative!
