Time almost got away from me this week before I got my card finished for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, but it was one that when I opened the blog on Monday morning I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I’ve been trying to use up some paper packs that are down to scrap pieces so I don’t have to move them into my new art studio. I don’t know how I ended up with scraps left because Roxie is one of my all time favorite papers. I colored the stamped image with my Shinhan markers. I like the casualness of everything mounted on the Kraft card base.
I hope you’ve enjoyed stopping by…head over to the AHSC to see what their designers and other participants have been up too.
It is rare that snow happens in Western Washington, but when it does you don’t want to be outside. What to do? I’m not much of a TV person and my Kindle just wasn’t calling my name. Create came to mind, of course!
I have been waiting for a good reason to use the new Kraft Die Cut Cards from Close to My Heart and since I had Roxie paper at my fingertips from making things for my Valentine class I paired them up and am very happy with the results.
I kinda hope it snows again so I can keep creating!
Well, if there is one thing that makes a girl happy on a Monday morning it is time in the craft room…after finishing chores (laundry, oven cleaning, dishwasher starting, firewood gathering) I took a few minutes to take the challenge posted on the Mojo Monday Blog.
I am truly not much of a flower girl…I love my bling, I love my ribbon…but flowers challenge me. Last week I cheated and used a snowflake…today I decided I better just suck it up. I’m pretty happy with my results.
I am seriously in love with the Roxie Paper Packet from Close to My Heart. It is going to make terrific Valentine’s and wonderful scrapbook layouts.
