Double Trouble – #52

There is no better way to start a Monday than with a little trouble – A Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge that is…it’s a pretty good way to wrap up a Thursday of crafting too!

I’ve been missing in Double Trouble Land for quite some time…decided that I wanted to give up my seat on the DT and turn things over to my twin…I’m sure she’ll do a good job, I will hopefully find time along my journeys to play along.

The challenge this week is to include at least one spring item on your card, a twist of adding a bee and to link up with Bitten By the Bug. I grabbed a retired paper packet (I’m trying to bust my stash while I’m in Stay Healthy, Stay Home mode) and the multi-square die from Close to My Heart and the Share the Joy stamp set. I quickly colored all my images with the tri-blend markers and then layered on my banners. I decided to give things a light touch of clear Shimmer Pen, but it’s so hard to see in a picture.

Don’t forget to link up and join the fun…everyone needs a little Double Trouble in their life!

WOW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! As promised on Monday I came back to talk a little more about the Card Workshop Kits and the wonderful instructions that come along with them, but that are also available online.

I love our card patterns – I’m the proud owner and avid user of the terrific tools that make card making (and scrapbooking) faster and simpler. The card kits include brand new patterns that Close to My Heart has designed.

I Heart Us Workshops Your Way® Cards

Since I focused on the Lucky Friendship Card Kit on Monday I wanted to continue talking about that particular kit and show you the versatility of using that pattern with other papers. I hope you’ll see how valuable our card workshops are in your card making.

Here I’ve used the So Much Happy Paper and the Paper Pal Pets & Wordfetti Stamp Sets with the same patterns.

Two more cards using the same pattern, but instead the Feels Like Home Paper Packets – you’ll notice I flipped one of the cards to a horizontal layout, but it’s still the same exact pattern.

I hope you realize how versatile the Workshops Your Way Cardmaking Kits actually are and I’ll let you in on a little secret…you can download the instructions for the kits right from my shopping page in the description of the products.

Let me know what you think about our card kits and if you’ve every used them before. I always enjoy your comments.
