Wait…it’s supposed to be the Merriest Time of Year, right? Then why am I still feeling like Christmas needs to come in about 2 months instead of two weeks?
These are just a few of the Christmas Cards that I’ve been working on. I combined some retired products with brand new ones and declared that non-traditional colors could be used too!
Even though it’s just two weeks to Christmas it’s never too soon to start planning for next year and most of the products I used will be retiring at the end of December.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards…do you have a favorite?
Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.
This week the Color Dare is mixing things up with you picking the colors as long as they are BRIGHT & BOLD.
I chose to use a PML card from the Tis the Season paper packet and a few of the B&T papers. I then layered a snowflake from the Winter Flurries Thin Cuts in Silver & Red Glitter paper.
Now it’s YOUR turn! The rules on how to join are located here. While you are visiting the home page take a peek at what the other Design Team members have created…they are a talented bunch for sure!
Wow! I don’t think Double Dare & Trouble Maker realized that when it rains in the PNW that Toilet Paper gets sticky…it’s one thing getting framed, but being wrapped up like a mummy was almost unbearable. I’ve finally managed to break free and here I am with our next challenge!
Mathematicians tell us that numbers are the language of the universe. Numerologists go so far as to say that the numbers in your life can define who you are and what you do. With a few simple calculations, you can find the five core numbers that offer insight into your own life.
Since there’s 5 weeks in the month of October Double Trouble has a special one week challenge featuring something, anything & everything (please no Charmin). I’m giving you an optional twist for an extra drawing for our Bag of Things! All you have to do is include a number on your card…die cut, stamped, a pair of dice, playing cards as long as it has a number you’ll get an extra entry. Double Dare is challenging you to link up to one of our previous challenges (let me let you in a little hint – Color My Heart is having a monochromatic green challenge so maybe your lucky number is the color of money!)
I’ve been working on Christmas cards so my lucky number is 25! I actually paper pieced my 25 by die cutting it twice once out of charcoal CS and once out of a cute snowflake b&t found in the Tis the Season paper packet..
I hope you enjoy my twist on this one week special challenge. I look forward to giving you extra votes when you include a number!
