Kind Thoughts

Have you ever avoided purchasing a paper pack because it was theme specific?  Today I’m going to try and convince you to take another look at the papers in the Close to My Heart paper packets.

This card is from the Workshop Your Way Kind Thoughts Card Making Kit.  I love the Gold Rush paired with the Bashful, Black and White.  Such a classy card and that new Rose Embossing Folder – yes please!

Would you believe that this paper is straight from the Cats & Bats paper packet?

Although one of the papers is very themed oriented – the other papers in this pack are stand alone papers with trendy designs that can be used for so many other projects.  You’ll find a list of the featured colors on the back of the Zip Strip of the paper packet or listed in the catalog.   Cats & Bats contains: Black, Charcoal, Emerald, Gold Rush, Pebble, Pewter, White Daisy & Willow.

I hope I’ve convinced you to take another look at the Paper Packets that are now available in the recently released Holiday Expressions and realize that they have lots of uses and are not just holiday specific.

Workshop Guides

One of the fabulous things about our Workshops Your Way are the fabulous instructions that come with our kits.

You can find the instructions which you can download and print by visiting my webpage http://www.papercraftingprincess.ctmh.com and then clicking on Shop and then Kits.  All of the Workshop Your Way kits are listed and you just click on the picture of the one you want.  You will notice the words “Download Guide” under the purchase price where you can add the workshop to your shopping cart if you choose to shop online.

I have attached the Kind Thoughts Card Kit workshop below, you can click the link to open in a new page.

Kind Thoughts Card Kit – Bats and Cats

You’ll notice that the first page of the Guide includes finished photos of the project, an image of the stamp set included with the kit and a list of supplies that you will need to complete the kit.  The next pages include a cutting guide – including placement of thin cuts as needed.  The final pages give step by step directions on how to assemble the project.

I love our workshop guides – they provide fabulous base instructions that are interchangeable with other papers.  I’ll be posting some examples this week, make sure you check back for a fun little contest.

If you’ve purchased a Workshop Your Way Kit, make sure you get the guide downloaded so that you can complete your projects.  If you have any questions – please feel free to give me a call and I will walk you through the process.

Dreamin’ with Heart to Heart

I think this week I’ve made up for lost time in the Craft Coop.  I’ve managed to make cards and scrapbook memories.  Over at the Heart to Heart Challenge Blog the challenge is to Dream Big – although it’s left to interpretation I chose to use the Dreamin’ Big Scrapbook Workshop on the Go.

The fun thing about these scrapbook pages for me is that this trip is scrapbooked less than two weeks after it happened!  Now I will admit there was a little last minute push last night to get the photos on the pages before my class today because I wanted to show how fun the papers and layouts are.

The Dreamin’ Big Workshop had the perfect theme for our vacation “Adventure”.  I’ve been to a lot of places, but Arizona is one state that had escaped my radar.  We had a short 5 day trip that was jam-packed with activity including a Mariner’s Spring Training Game.

I know you’re going to say Baseball and Flowers and I’m going to say why not?  What I really hopes catch your attention is that zip strip with the words, explore, dream, discover, play, laugh.  We did all those things when we were in Arizona.

Thanks for stopping by I’ll be back tonight with more artwork for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  If you don’t want to miss any of my posts, why not click the follow button on the sidebar and you’ll get a notification each time I post something new.
