Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare.

Join our fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge using colors from “Oh What Fun” paper pack … first choose a row, column or diagonal and include choice in your post … and then feel free to use “only” additional Colors in the Board below. We use CTMH color names for reference; however, you are welcome to use any products as long as they are the closest match

Neutrals: White, Cream, Black, Gray, Kraft and Brown(s) are free to use unless otherwise specified in our board.

I chose the bottom row of White Daisy, Raspberry & Pixie and my favorite new birthday stamp set from the Seasonal Expressions 1 CTMH Catalog – Years of Sweetness. I’ve used this stamp set a lot and will feature it next week here on my blog I hope you’ll come back and see the versatility.

Soft & Pastel – Color Dare #323

What happens when the Color My Heart Color Dare pairs up with the team at Double Trouble Papercrafting Challenge? Things run amok – posts get changed from Friday to Monday – rules get broken and in general design team members behave wildly!

The Color My Heart Color Dare challenge #323 is asking you to link your Soft & Pastel or Bold & Bright delights to the proper gallery and Double Trouble has a special recipe for fun that you can find here.

I was a bit confused and overly busy (did you see those Seahawks beat the Vikings last week at Monday night football? I was there!) so my card doesn’t follow the rules of Double Trouble’s challenge (what did I tell you about running amok?)

This was a super fun card to make I’m not sure if it was because I pulled out my HedgeHugs stamp, that I added a fun little zip feature that hides something good or perhaps it’s just who it’s going too! Last week I participated in the Bright & Bold challenge so this week I thought I’d give the soft & pastel a twist – hedgehogs are soft right? I used the lighter papers from the Oh What Fun paper packet and layered it on Kraft cardstock with just a hint of silver.

I’d like to say my card left me speechless, but that wasn’t the case. I was having up & down issues with my internet and although my picture saved and my blog scheduled appparently my words did not!

Happy Friday and welcome to another week of the Color My Heart Color Dare. This week we are featuring the colors: Black, White Daisy, Silver, Willow, Saphire, Slate and Ruby.

My Card is an adapted version of the card in the Jack Card Making Kit. I love all the banners and decided to mix it up a bit, by adding a piece of B&T. The new ribbon thin cut is another new product and one of my faves! If you know me bows are not my thing!
